Homework:  The homework will be sent home on Mondays and is due back completed on Mondays. Homework for week 7 was sent home on Monday 22nd August and will be due back on Monday 29th August.   Students, it is important to take pride in your homework.  This is part of your learning at home.


Improve Home Reading - One way to motivate your child to read their home reader may be 'I read, you read.'  You could read the entire book first then have your child read it or take it page by page.  You read a page, then your child reads the same page.  It can be motivating for the students to hear someone else read what they will be reading next.  Try to inject some fun into it - you could use expression, change your voice or try reading the book to a beat.  Making this time fun is important.
